MAYBANK has launched a new digital banking apps, Maybank Treats, claiming they were the first of their kind in South-East Asia. The Maybank Treats app provides card-holders with information on the latest promotions and offers that are available nearby. They were designed for use in Maybank’s key home markets of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines, the bank said in a statement.
The apps are available for the iOS and Android platforms, Maybank is targeting 50,000 downloads for each app this year.
The Maybank Treats app comes with an accompanying app that enables card merchants to place their promotions to be broadcasted on an iBeacon device placed at merchant stores.
